The current theme of Horyzont Mars 2026 is: Safe space for a safe Earth. New technologies and new challenges in an accelerating space race.

The submission scope includes the main conference themes: safe exploration and use of the Moon and Mars, space technologies for security, satellite infrastructure, Space Traffic Management, space sustainability, and the legal, political and social consequences of the accelerating space race.

Main submission themes

  1. Safe exploration and use of the Moon and Mars.
  2. Mars as a future component of Earth security: economic, resource-based and technological.
  3. Human spaceflight safety and medicine in space and from space on Earth.
  4. Space technologies, satellite infrastructure and defence applications.
  5. Space Traffic Management and orbital safety around Earth and the Moon.
  6. European and Polish actions for security in and from space.
  7. Space sustainability and the legal dimension of space security and space safety.
  8. Education for the space age and the social consequences of the accelerating space race.
